Greenville, IL — The Factory Theatre, a beloved institution with a legacy spanning 50 years, is thrilled to announce a festive event that will transport families to the enchanting world of The Polar Express this holiday season. On December 15, 2023, join us for a magical evening filled with warmth, joy, and holiday cheer at The Factory Theatre Christmas Experience: The Polar Express.

Adults and children alike are welcome to don their coziest pajamas and embark on a magical journey as we present the beloved holiday classic, The Polar Express. Our venue will be transformed into a winter wonderland, providing an immersive experience that will captivate audiences of all ages.

Gret Tindall, Producer says, "GU students join community members to put on a wonderful holiday event for area families. Students are incredibly busy this time of year. Final projects and exams, end-of-semester concerts and events; other organizations vying for their time and resources, and making travel plans for the holidays. Adding even one more event can be tricky. Yet, these volunteers are jumping in and doing whatever they can to ensure this family community event succeeds. They are pitching in to transform the theatre into a Polar Express wonderland! Every act of service ensures that the Factory Theatre can continue to provide these types of shows and events to the campus and community."

Anyone under high school age must be accompanied by an adult.

Event Highlights:

• Movie Screening: Enjoy the heartwarming tale of The Polar Express with family and friends on the big screen.

• Pajama Party: Come dressed in your favorite festive pajamas and be part of the cozy holiday atmosphere.

• Sweet Treats: Attendees receive a cup of delicious hot cocoa and a special holiday treat to savor during the movie. Treats will be free of nuts.

• Souvenir Keepsake: As a memento of this enchanting evening, each attendee will receive a souvenir to take home, creating lasting memories of The Polar Express experience.

• Immersive Atmosphere: The Factory Theatre volunteers will be decked out in iconic costumes, bringing the movie to life with characters such as the conductor, Santa, and waiters from The Polar Express.

The Factory Theatre Christmas Experience: The Polar Express promises to be a heartwarming and immersive event that will truly capture the spirit of the holiday season. Whether young or young at heart, this event will create magical moments cherished for years to come. Please note that The Factory Theatre is not currently ADA accessible.

• Time: Doors will open at 6:15 pm. The movie will begin at 7:00 pm

• Location: The Factory Theatre, 400 E Harris Ave, Greenville, Illinois (Across the street from CVS Pharmacy)
