About David Probst

Dr. Probst came to Greenville University in August of 2019 to lead the Engineering program through the ABET accreditation process.  He has served as a program evaluator for ABET for 17 years, including 5 years as a team chair.  He is a registered Professional Engineer. Prior to that, he spent 27 years at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO, 18 of which he chaired the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics.  He also spent ten years prior to that in industry at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, MO.   He and his wife Maggie have two children and nine grandchildren.  They enjoy bicycling.
