Women's soccer earns 2-1 road win

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's soccer team traveled to Harris-Stowe on Friday and returned home with a 2-1 win. Greenville's Dani Pearce and Kieley Leach picked up the Lady Panther goals.
Pearce scored in the seventh minute of the match as Kency Lopez assisted.
Harris-Stowe produced their goal in the 24th minute.
Leach got the game-winner in the 77th minute.
Greenville outshot Harris-Stowe 17-14. Pearce and Leach each had five shots.
Goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff posted seven saves.
The Lady Panthers (1-1) travel to Rose-Hulman for a match on Wednesday.
