Men’s Cross Country Places Seventh at Rose Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The mens cross country squad traveled to Terre Haute, Ind. Sat Oct. 9 to participate in the Rose-Hulman Gibson Family Collegiate Invitational. They claimed seventh place as a team and showcased several high performing runners.
In a field of 13 teams and 170 participants competing, the Panthers were well represented as they posted five runners in the top 50, and two in the top 20.
Senior Cole Prins (Monticello, Ill./Monticello) led the Panthers with a 17th place finish, and a time of 27:27 on the 8K course. Displaying the depth for the Panthers, this marks the first time this season that Prins has finished as the top runner.
Greenville mens cross country will look to build on its success this season as next week the team travels to Evansville, Ind. to take part in the Evansville Invitational Sat. Oct. 10.
