Men's Basketball Stopped by Loras

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team returned to action Friday with a 73-64 loss to Loras in its first game following the holiday vacation period. Despite having the game's two leading scorers in Alex Mumphard and Ron Harris, the Panthers were outshot and outrebounded in the defeat.
Greenville led by one at halftime, 33-32, but couldn't hold on as Loras used a 41 point second half to take the win.
Mumphard posted a game-high 24 points, while Harris totaled 16 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
Jamal Daniels and Tevin Rollins came off the bench to each contribute eight points.
The Panthers (5-4) travel to Eureka on Wednesday for a SLIAC contest at 8 p.m.
