Hands-on ministry training
Begin your ministry experience while still a student by serving in the church, university, public service organizations, and more. Grow your understanding of the common ministry to which all disciples are called.
Connect to the global church
Visit monasteries and other communities that practice various Christian traditions. Publish and present at academic and church conferences. Participate in internships around the globe or down the street.
Engaging classes
Take courses in biblical and theological studies, church history, philosophy, and ministry. Faculty in the Bastian School of Theology, Philosophy, and Ministry see their teaching as expressions of their faith and vocation as disciples.

3/2 pastoral leadership track. Earn a bachelor of arts and master of arts in Christian leadership in as little as five years! Complete a bachelor of arts in theological studies or ministry in three years at GU, then transfer to Seattle Pacific University to complete a master of arts in Christian leadership in two years.

The ministry major requires a core of 29 credits and the selection of an emphasis of either pastoral ministries or urban/cross cultural that is an additional nine credits. Both emphases lead to a bachelor of arts degree.
