“Experience First helped me develop skills in professional writing, holding business meetings, leading a team toward a goal, and working with persons who have different learning styles and strengths. I don’t know of any other college or university that has a program like Experience First.”
Dana Smith | business management major
Dana’s Experience First group worked with the fair-trade apparel company, GOEX, to develop a marketing plan.
As an employee of True North Partners, Johnny Milabu served as a professional partner for an Experience First group. Here’s what he had to say about our students:
“The students assigned to True North helped build a survey that assisted us in our work with a prospective client. The survey and results impressed the client, who ultimately expressed the desire to conduct business with True North. I was proud of the students because I knew how hard they worked to succeed.”
Johnny Milabu | computer information systems major
Johnny had the unique situation of being a professional partner and a former Experience First student!
