Terrell Carter sat down with GU Communications Coordinator Sarah Thomack to talk about his newest book,Im Glad Its Not Me: Rethinking Suffering and Gods Fairness When life Goes Wrong (Pinnacle Leadership Press, 2020).He explains his role as Chief Diversity Officer and Special Advisor to the Presidentat the University and his process for writing books.

Since this interview was recorded, Carter has since announced he accepted a position as president and executive director of Rise, a community development organization in St. Louis. Carter plans to remain involved with Greenville University and assist in implementing the diversity plan he helped create.
