Board of Trustees Welcomes New Member Rev. B. Elliott Renfroe

RenfroeJoining the Greenville University Board of Trustees in February is Rev. B. Elliott Renfroe. Rev. Renfroe formerly served as senior pastor of the Peoria First Free Methodist Church in Peoria, Illinois, and as assistant superintendent for the Upstate Illinois District of the North Central Conference of the Free Methodist Church. 

Rev. Renfroe has more than 17 years of urban and multi-cultural ministry experience including leadership roles in discipleship and outreach. He has facilitated leadership courses for ministerial students pursuing ordination and is also experienced in hospital chaplaincy. 

His credentials include a master of divinity from Northeastern Seminary (Rochester, New York) and a bachelor of science in hospitality management from East Stroudsburg University (East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania).

Renfroe has also volunteered in various capacities with the Free Methodist Church including president of the Free Methodist Urban Fellowship. He also has served with Teen Challenge Peoria, Peoria Health Department and The Timothy Project.
