Job DescriptionInternship (Unpaid) Opportunities. The Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce is seeking their next round of college interns. This is an unpaid internship; however there are many opportunities for experience. College students are encouraged to apply if they are studying: Business, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, Video/Media, Office Administration, Video and/or Website. NOTE: For the spring semester, it looks like you will most likely be working remotely. Requirements: Come to work every day that you are scheduled. Arrive to work fifteen minutes before you are scheduled so you have time to prep for the day. Bring a team attitude and be willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Abide by current Chamber policies such as dress code, confidentiality, drug testing etc. Understand that the Chamber is a non-profit organization, who hosts multiple events, so you may be putting signs out in the rain, posting on social media, attending a networking event, answering five calls and taking out the trash. Be able to put away your cell phone during your work hours. Benefits of being a Chamber Intern: Ability to network with local businesses.
