Former/Retired Director of Ruby E. Dare Library, and Head of Technical Services (includes administration, supervision, and planning, as well as reference service and selection and organization of library materials)
I served as co-chair of the GC Library Planning Committee for the Library expansion project which resulted in the building of the Library Tower addition dedicated in 1991. I served as Conference Coordinator for the Association of Christian Librarians from 1999-2010, planning annual conferences for around 200 academic librarians each year. My other activities include serving as secretary for Bond County Historical Society, Bond County Humane Society, and Donnellson Presbyterian Church.

Related Experiences
Ms. Hopkins has held several positions in the field of library science at various libraries and universities. She was a member of the Library Building Planning Committee at Greenville College from 1985-1991. During which time she wrote major portions of the Library Building Planning and Program documents, as well as developed furniture layouts for the new construction and kept library services functioning through the entire process. In addition, Ms. Hopkins planned and implemented the library automation project with ILLINET Online and also prepared a Strategic Plan for Library services.
