Records Office - Request a Transcript



Federal Law mandates that only the student may request release of their transcript. Therefore, all requests for a transcript must be made by the student and will require a written consent form be submitted through Transcripts on Demand before the transcript request will be processed. The order form and the required consent form can be found using Transcripts on Demand provided by Credentials Solutions. Transcript orders can no longer be processed my mail, in person, or over the phone. Please click HERE to be directed to the Credentials Solutions ordering system, known as Transcripts on Demand, to order your transcript.

Please Note: An unpaid balance with Greenville University will result in a hold being placed on your Greenville University transcript which will not be lifted until the balance has been cleared. If you have questions concerning the status of your account, contact the Student Accounts Office at 618.664.7013. Once an outstanding balance has been cleared, you must notify the Records Office so that the hold may be removed from your transcript and your order will be processed.

Transcripts - FAQ

How will I know if my transcript request has been received?

You will receive confirmation emails when your consent form has been received, when your order is in process or when your order has been completed. You will also receive emails in the event that your order cannot be processed for a particular reason (missing consent form, outstanding balance, etc.). Please check your inbox and also your junk box for these emails.

How can I submit my consent form?

You will need to have access to a printer in order to print the required consent form. Federal law requires a “pen to paper” signature, therefore electronic signatures are not available with this ordering system. You can submit the consent form in one of three ways:

  • By email: (if you cannot scan, you can take a picture with your smart phone)

How do I log in? I don’t have a username/password.

The username and password must both be created before you are able to submit an order through Transcripts on Demand. They are not connected to your Greenville College username and password. Once you create a username and password, they will be the credentials you use each time you order a transcript. Be sure to write your username and password down for quick reference each time you want to submit a transcript order.

How do I pay for a transcript order?

You can use credit or debit card to pay for the transcript fee. You will be prompted to enter credit/debit card information at the end of the ordering process.

Can I send my transcript to someone else?

Yes. Transcripts can be requested to go anywhere you like. If a company/institution/organization is not a part of the Transcripts on Demand network, it is still possible to send a transcript using Transcripts on Demand.

Will my transcript be official?

Yes. Your transcript will be official whether it is sent through the post office or electronically. If you mark “Yes” when asked “Are you requesting that this transcript be sent to yourself?, be aware that a watermark will be printed on the official transcript that says “Issued to Student”. If you are ordering an electronic copy, be sure to check with the company/institution/organization that an Official Electronic transcript is acceptable.
