Advising Center

Our Vision:

GU's Advising Center enriches the academic advising experience for undergraduate students. It empowers students to develop Christ-centered educational plans and achieve degree completion.

Our Mission:

The Advising Center supports Greenville University’s rich culture of strength-based, faculty advising of the whole person. It effectively advises undergraduate students to complete their degrees with success. Acting as a bridge between faculty advisors and Records, the center serves students by:

  • promoting and reviewing four and three-year degree plans
  • addressing top-priority academic advising needs
  • advocating for students’ degree progress and supporting individual degree completion
  • coordinating with the Student Success Center, the Career and Calling Development Office, and other departments to maintain effective academic advising across campus.
