A degree in Digital Media  from Greenville University offers an exciting opportunity to design and create in a faith-based environment. The Digital Media  major provides a comprehensive curriculum in which students gain skills in graphic design, photography, video, animation, programming, audio editing, and internet development skills. Digital Media  students are prepared to become content creators in a world that is constantly being shaped by technology.

Students who pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media at Greenville University learn to integrate their Christian worldview into their creative process and this is revealed in their digital content. While gaining a broad-based, theoretical, and technical education, our students also learn to create as moral and responsible Christian professionals.

In the Digital Media  program at Greenville University, you’ll:

  • Hands-on experience. Our intentional professors give students the attention they need and challenge them to pursue projects that will grow their sills. We have two Apple labs with Adobe Creative Cloud access available to Digital Media  students along with digital cameras, light kits, drones, green screens, and podcasting equipment.
  • Internships. There are over a dozen ways to intern as a DM student on campus at GU. Students can also participate in nationwide internships. Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego, St. Louis, Nashville, and Indianapolis are just a few of the places our students have completed internships. 
  • Opportunities to showcase. With the Papyrus student newspaper, The Vista student magazine, PodLab podcasting, facebook live crew, and the Scriblerus writing club, you’ll find several avenues to showcase your abilities. Our students also participate in the American Advertising Awards, AIGA, the Associated Collegiate Press and the College Media Association and have had great success.
