Published: April 13, 2021

The Greenville Women's Soccer team were ranked third in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's 2012 Pre-season Poll, behind Principia College and Webster University who claimed first and second, respectively.

GC got one first place vote and finished with 50 total points. SLIAC powerhouse, Principia, picked up five first place votes and 61 total points. The Conference champions were undefeated in the SLIAC in 2011 and finished their season with a record of 16-4-1. Webster finished the poll with 56 points and two first place votes. The Gorlocks finished second in the Conference last season with a SLIAC record of 7-1.

The Lady Panthers are under new leadership this year as Jeff Wardlaw has assumed the head coach position. The team has a great deal of returning players who are expected to contribute to both the offense and defense this season.
