Women's Soccer Falls to Webster, 2-0

GREENVILLE, Ill.-- The Lady Panther Soccer team lost to Webster University 2-0 despite a valiant effort.

Both of Webster's goals were scored in the second half of the game, the first by Freddie Brandt in the 49th minute, and the second by Kristin Montgomery, with the assist by Ally Nikolaus, in the game's 69th minute.

Greenville's goalkeeper, Heidi Koehl, made an impressive 7 saves in the game. The Panther's fought a tough battle to the Gorlocks, but could not come away with the win.

This brings the Lady Panthers' record to 9-8-1 (5-3 SLIAC) The women will play again Wednesday, Oct. 31 in the first round of the SLIAC Tournament.
