Women's Basketball Topped by Westminster

FULTON, Mo. -- The women's basketball team traveled to Westminster Tuesday night and was dealt a59-47 loss by the Lady Blue Jays. Katelyn Wise put together a well-rounded effort for Greenville with a team-leading 16 points and seven rebounds.

The difference in turnovers was the key to Westminster's win, as they forced Greenville into 23 turnovers compared to the home team's six turnovers.

Greenville entered halftime trailing by nine and was outscored by three in the second half.

Ieisha Adams came off the bench for Greenville to post 11 points. Laura Hobbie collected seven rebounds.

Emily Gundy passed out three assists, and Emmalee Fladland swiped two steals.

The loss dropped Greenville's record to 4-8 (1-3 SLIAC). The Lady Panthers return to action Thursday at home against Fontbonne at 6 p.m.
