Women's Basketball Snaps Skid with 11-Point Victory Over Monmouth

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team won an intense game against Monmouth College on Saturday afternoon with the score of71-60. Greenville was led in scoring by Laura Hobbie with 20 points with16 coming in the first half.

Two other Lady Panthers were in double-digit scoring as well. Emmalee Fladland had 11 points and Julia Hale put in 10 off the bench for the Lady Panthers.

Ieisha Adams was Greenville's leader in assists with six, and Linda Morris led the team with 10 rebounds.

Despite 23 turnovers by Greenville, the defense held the Lady Scots to a 35 percent shooting markand created 18 turnovers.

The Lady Panthers (10-7) will tryto stay in the win column next Wednesday night at Eureka College with a 6 p.m. tipoff. Greenville beat Eureka in their earlier matchup this season.
