Women's track and field takes fifth at Greenville Select Meet

Results

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's track and field team was led by a win by Chelsea Gilles and took fifth place in the Greenville Select meet on Saturday.

Gilles was the women's top performer with her best time of the season. She ran the 400-meter dash in 58.05 seconds to win by nearly one full second. Her time is 16th best in the NCAA Division III.

Greenville collected 46.5 points toward the team standings.

Greenville added second place in the 4x100 meter relay.

Krissy Finley took fourth in the 800-meter run, and Alex Gregory was fifth in the 100-meter dash.

The Lady Panthers travel to St. Louis University to compete Friday and Saturday.
