Women's track and field earns 16th at Illinois College

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The women's track and field season continued Saturday at Illinois College as the Lady Panthers ranked 16th among the event's teams.
Sophomore sprinter Chelsea Gilles was the lone Greenville competitor to earn points in the meet as she gained five points in the 400 meter dash.
Gilles completed the event in 59.95 seconds after coming into the meet with the fifth best seed in the race.
The Lady Panthers travel to Monmouth on Saturday for the Fighting Scot Invitational.
