Women's Track and Field Competes at Washington - St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Greenville women’s track and field team traveled to Washington University for a two day meet on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29. Out of 28 teams the lady Panthers finished 20th for the weekend.

Among the top performers for Greenville was Chelsea Gilles, who had a 400 meter dash time of 1:01.72 that earned her 10th place. The Panthers came in 7th in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 51.29. Gabby Perdue, Gilles, Iyeesha Deberry, and Alex Gregory represented Greenville in this event.

The women had nine points total for the meet. Greenville will host a track meet on Saturday, April 5.
