CARLINVILLE, Ill.-- The Lady Panthers traveled to Blackburn College and beat the Beavers 4-0. This victory extends the team's win-streak to 4 games.

The first half went by without either team scoring. Kency Lopez got the Panthers on the scoreboard just 4 minutes into the second half when she finished a pass from Kelsey Panzau. Kieley Leach found the back of the net in the 54th minute and Heather Wein was credited with the assist to bring GC up 2-0. Greenville's final two goals of the match were scored by Claire Conwell-Vargas and they brought the game to its final score of 4-0.

Greenville outshot Blackburn 33 to 6 in the match. Panther goalkeepers Heidi Koehl and Bethany Tackett made the GC shutout possible, with Koehl playing 60 minutes and Tackett in goal for the final 30 minutes of the game.

With the Conference win, the Lady Panthers' record improves to 6-9 (5-1 SLIAC). They will return to the pitch Saturday, October 26 when they travel to Westminster in hopes of continuing their SLIAC win-streak.
