Women's Basketball Shuts Down Eeten But Falls at Eureka

EUREKA, Ill. --The women's basketball team traveled to Eureka for a rescheduled game Thursday night and lost 68-57 to the Red Devils. Coley Baker produced 16 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots in the effort.

Greenville trailed by 12 at halftime. Despite shooting for a higher percentage than the winning squad, the Lady Panthers were hampered by 25 turnovers. The Lady Panthers also held former conference player of the year Caty Eeten to a conference low scoring output of 11 points.

Emily Gundy contributed 17 points in the loss to take honors as the game's leading scorer. Missy Deal added 10 points.

The Lady Panthers (4-9, 1-5 SLIAC) host MacMurray Saturday at 1 p.m.
