Women's Basketball rolls over Lincoln Christian

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team went into Thanksgiving on a high note as it captured its first win of the year with a 77-41 defeat of Lincoln Christian. Freshman led all scorers with 16 points in the effort.
Greenville took a 39-22 lead into halftime and outscored Lincoln Christian 38-19 in the second half.
The Lady Panthers shot 38.8 percent on 26-of-67 shooting. The women were 22-of-30 at the free throw line, hitting 73.3 percent.
Greenville limited themselves to just six turnovers, while forcing Lincoln Christian into 24 turnovers that led to 28 Greenville points.
Taylor Paulin knocked down 10 points in the win. Claire Schmitt passed out five assists, and Coley Baker blocked three shots.
The Lady Panthers (1-2) continue their season on Thursday, Dec. 4, when they host Spalding in Greenville at 6 p.m.
