Women's basketball falls in OT

FULTON, Mo. -- The women's basketball team was defeated 74-71 in overtime by Westminster on Saturday. The Lady Panthers were paced by Taylor Paulin with 17 points.

Westminster held a five point lead at halftime that Greenville countered in the second half.

Greenville was led by its guard play as Claire Schmitt joined Paulin in double figure scoring with 13 points. Schmitt also had five assists.

Miranda Murray contributed off the bench with four assists and a team-high five rebounds.

Coley Baker blocked four shots.

The Lady Panthers (8-10, 5-7 SLIAC) host Fontbonne on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in a critical conference matchup. Currently, Greenville sits one-half game back of Webster for the final conference tournament spot.
