Women's Basketball Drops MacMurray

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team won their third straight with a convincing 89-59 victory over MacMurray on the road. Emily Gundy dropped in a career-high 27 points in the win.
The contest was close at the intermission as Greenville held just a four point lead. Greenville exploded and outscored the Highlanders by 26 points in the second half.
Coley Baker joined Gundy as one of Greenville's top producers as she collected 17 points, seven rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals.
Claire Schmitt passed out seven assists, and Gabby Adams and Miranda Murray swiped two steals.
The Lady Panthers (7-11, 4-7 SLIAC) resume their season Wednesday night at Westminster in a key conference matchup.
