Women's basketball defeats MacMurray by 45

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team got back on the winning track Saturday as they punished MacMurray with an 85-40 win. Missy Deal led Greenville with 17 points and seven rebounds in the win.
Greenville led 25-15 after the first quarter, and they extended their lead to 46-22 by halftime.
In the third period, Greenville increased their led to 64-33 going into the final stanza where they outscored MacMurray 21-7.
Wesley Woodard came off the bench and nearly doubled her scoring output for the entire season as she tallied 13 points.
Coley Baker produced five blocks in the victory, and Claire Schmitt had four assists.
The Lady Panthers (14-7, 10-4) travel to Fontbonne on Wednesday night for a game at 6 p.m.
