Women's basketball comes up short at Spalding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The women's basketball team dropped a hard fought contest to Spalding on Wednesday night by a 60-53 final score. Laura Goodnight led all Greenville scorer's with 19 points and topped the squad with seven rebounds.
The Lady Panthers hurt themselves as they turned the ball over 21 times in the contest.
Greenville shot for a higher percentage than Spalding in all categories -- field goals, three-point field goals, and free throws.
Kayla Hyde posted 11 points on the evening.
Claire Schmitt and Taylor Paulin each totaled four assists, and Schmitt led Greenville with three steals.
The Lady Panthers (7-8, 4-5 SLIAC) host Iowa Wesleyan on Saturday at 1 p.m.
