Volleyball Scores A Win Over Benedictine-Springfield

GREENVILLE, Ill.--The Lady Panther Volleyball team was on fire again as they swept Benedictine-Springfield 3-0.
GC was victorious in three sets, to earn the sweep with set scores of 25-10, 29-27, and 25-17.
Many Greenville players had impressive performances in the match. Corinne Coon led the Panthers in kills, picking up 10 in the matchand earning 2 services aces. Tricia Gall also had an impressive night, with 8 kills, 7 service aces, and 3 block assists. Nicole Schaffer was credited with 7 kills, 12 digs, 2 solo blocks, and 2 block assists. Ansley DeVrieze recorded 6 kills and 7 digs. Lastly, Hannah Groves had 27 assists in the match and recorded 2 kills in the match.
The women's record is now 17-7 (12-1 SLIAC). They play again tomorrow, Oct. 17, as they travel to Lincoln Christian.
