Volleyball remains perfect in SLIAC

EUREKA, Ill. -- The volleyball team pushed their first place conference mark to 12-0 with a three set win at Eureka on Tuesday. Allyson Mitchell led the way with 11 kills and one block assist as they Lady Panthers won 25-16, 25-11, 25-18.
The team hit at a .238 clip. Savannah Sells had nine kills, and Ellen Lueking provided 25 assists.
Greenville's defensive efforts were balanced as the team had three players with seven to nine digs. Jamie Schollenbruch led the team with nine digs. Nicole Schaeffer had eight digs, and Kirsten Laune posted seven digs.
Blocking efforts were paced by Sierah Ruffner and Marissa Erwin who each tallied two block assists.
Schollenbruch produced three service aces and Lueking tallied two service aces.
The Lady Panthers (18-6, 12-0 SLIAC) host second place Westminster on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Greenville.
