ST. LOUIS, Mo. NCAA Division III perennial powerhouse Washington University shut out GC softball on Tuesday in St. Louis as the Lady Panthers dropped both games of the double-header 8-0, 9-0. Greenville softball has dropped five of their last six games.

With the losses GC softball drops to 14-21 on the season.

Angela Sheets was charged the loss in the opener, dealing five and one-third innings while surrendering eight runs on 13 hits.

In game two Lindsey Schuberth (8-12) claimed the loss, pitching two and one-third innings while giving up six earned on nine hits in the 8-0 decision.

The Lady Panthers will look to get back on track on Thursday, May 5, as they begin the first round of the SLIAC tournament against Fontbonne in Ferguson, Mo.
