Men's Tennis Falls 6-3 to Rose Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Panther Tennis team had a slow start on Friday and could not fight back from it, losing to Rose Hulman 6-3.

The team started very slow, losing all three doubles matches to start the match down three. Singles play went better for Greenville, with the Panthers capturing three of the six matches played. John Urshan, Andrew Herelin, and Code Power were victorious for GC. Urshan, won his #1 match with a close score of 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-3). Herelin won a tiebreaker with a score of 6-7 (5-8), 6-4, 1-0 (10-7). Finally, Power, who played in the #6 spot, beat his opponent 6-3, 6-4.

This brings the team's record to 7-6 (2-1 SLIAC). With this match behind them, the Panthers will look to their next match against Franklin tomorrow.
