Men’s Tennis: Day 2 Sees GC Handle Texas Lutheran 6-3

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. The Panthers bounced back from day ones tough defeat, and rallied to put away Texas Lutheran University 6-3 on Tuesday, March 15. Senior Joe Newlin led GC with his #1 singles 6-4, 7-5, match victory over TLUs Travis Conn.
Greenville went 4-2 in singles play with Newlin, Taylor Dunnington, Jesse Shaw, and Ryan Haas all picking up victories. The Panthers added a 2-1 advantage in doubles action to seal the win.
GC moves to 4-1 on the season with the decision.
Mens tennis will next hit the court for day three play against Messiah on Wednesday, March 16.
