Men's Track and Field Competes in Indiana and Illinois

The men's track and field team sent participants to Illinois College and Indiana University over the weekend and placed seventh of 16 teams at Illinois College while placing three participants in the top 10 at the Indiana University meet.

Jonah Peoples finished second in his event at Illinois College. He ran 23.14 seconds in the finals of the 200 meter dash.

Roosevelt McNeil was third at IC in the triple jump with a mark of 13.31 meters, and Bruce Gray finished third in the 200 at Indiana as he ran 22.70 seconds.

Four Panther participants placed fifth in their events, headlined by Josh Kuusisto's 18.05 meter performance in the weight throw at Indiana. Anthony Yates, Ryan St. Hill, and the 4x400 meter relay team at Illinois College were also fifth. Yates pole vaulted 3.81 meters, St. Hill ran 7.04 seconds in the 60-meter dash, and the relay team completed the event in 3:40.54.

The Panthers return to action Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan.
