GREENVILLE, Ill. -- Seven was Greenville's lucky number on Saturday as the Panthers rolled to a 7-0 win over MacMurray and improved their perfect conference record to 7-0. Prior to the game, Greenville honored its seven seniors.

On a night that was an offensive explosion for Greenville, freshman Jonny Madrid led with two goals and two assists.

Richie Hershkowitz also posted a pair of goals.

Single goals were scored by Parker Wray, Tyler Earick, and Brent Lehr.

Goalkeepers Sean Miday and Ian Hodge were perfect as they combined for the shutout.

"It was a great night to celebrate our seniors and their contributions to our program over the years," said head coach Chris Swift.

"Richie and Parker got on the scoresheet, ET and Ruppert got assists, Dillon unselfishly played in the back, and unfortunately Justin wasn't able to go tonight. All of them have been vital to the program through the years in their own way, and we will miss them, but tonight's win guarantees this won't be their last home game."

"Now we get ready for Westminster in what is a de facto championship game. This is what we have prepared for since last October when we missed out on the conference tournament on tiebreakers. It is an exciting time of year, and we are looking forward to the opportunities ahead of us."

The Panthers (10-7) will face the Blue Jays on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Fulton. A win over Westminster would guarantee no worse than a tie for the SLIAC league championship and give Greenville the number one seed in the conference tournament.
