Men's Cross Country: Simpson and Dees Make First Team, Briscoe Recognized for Sportsmanship

Men's Cross Country: Simpson and Dees Make First Team, Briscoe Recognized for Sportsmanship

GREENVILLE, Ill.-- Seniors Bryant Simpson and Josh Dees were honored as members of the SLIAC First Team All-Conference for the 2013 season. Tony Briscoe received Greenville's spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Simpson, a Fairfield, Ill. native, was GC's top runner in the SLIAC Cross Country Championship. He finished 5th with a time of 25:44. Simpson has been a solid competitor for Greenville all season.

Dees, from St. Joseph, Ill., was also honored with a spot on the All-Conference First Team. Dees took 7th place in the Championship, finishing in 25:51. His strong performances in 2013 made him a key to Greenville's success.

GC junior, Tony Briscoe, was named to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
