Men's basketball nipped by Millikin

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team was narrowly defeated by Millikin on Saturday as they dropped the 115-113 decision.
Millikin made the most of its opportunities hitting 65 percent from the field. Greenville hit only 39 percent from the field. Greenville won the rebounding battle 52-49.
Ultimately, the free throw line was Greenville's bugaboo as the Panthers made just under 60 percent of its free throws, converting 19-of-32.
Tim Daniel led Greenville with 30 points. DeAndre Brown added 19.
Daniel also collected a team-high seven rebounds, and Daniel Saeli provided five assists.
The Panthers (0-3) face Lincoln Christian on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
