Men's basketball dropped by Webster

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team finished their season with a 78-67 loss to conference tri-champion Webster on Tuesday night. Ron Harris closed his Greenville College basketball career with 17 points and 16 rebounds.
Greenville trailed by 10 at halftime, but the Panthers did not relinquish pursuit of Webster as they closed the Gorloks lead to 54-50 in the second half. Webster went on a 24-17 run to close the game.
Andrew Scott added 13 points and nine rebounds in the game.
Brian Ehresman collected four assists and two steals.
The Panthers (13-12, 10-8 SLIAC) just missed the conference tournament by one game as they got fifth in the final standings.
