Men's Basketball Dominates Blackburn

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team entered the holiday lay-off on a high note as they routed Blackburn 98-58 on Saturday in Greenville. Ron Harris led the Greenville squad as he totaled 14 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Greenville led 54-27 at the halftime intermission and continued to play well in the second half, outscoring Blackburn 44-31 in the second stanza.

In addition to Harris' performance, Nick Trisko added 14 points to tie Harris and Blackburn's Tommy Ulinski as the game's leading scorers.

Alex Mumphard posted 13 points, five assists, and five steals. Tim Daniel and Jake Dewitt tallied 12 and 10 points, respectively.

The Panthers (5-3, 1-1 SLIAC) return to action on Friday, Jan. 3, as they host Lorasat 3 p.m.
