Lady Panthers Basketball's Hobbie and Adams with Post-Season SLIAC Honors

GREENVILLE, Ill.-- The Lady Panther basketball team was recognized in the SLIAC All-Conference awards, with both Ieisha Adams and Laura Hobbie named SLIAC Honorable Mention players and the team receiving the Team Sportsmanship Award.
Adams, a senior forward from Belleville, Ill., was second in the SLIAC for assists, finishing the season with 72 in SLIAC play and 128 overall. In addition, Adams made 60 total seals, scored 278 points, and had a 42.8 field goal percentage throughout the 2012-2013 season.
Hobbie, a guard from Vandalia, Ill., finished the season with a 30.6 field goal percentage, 109 rebounds, and 295 points overall. Hobbie was also recognized as a member of the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship team.
GC, along with Principia and Westminster, were all awarded the SLIAC Team Sportsmanship award. This recognition is an honor for the team, under the leadership of Coach Roy Mulholland, who showed outstanding sportsmanship throughout the entire season.
