ROCK ISLAND, Ill.--The women's soccer team traveled to Rock Island to take on the No. 18 ranked Augustana Vikings. The Panthers fell 3-0 after 90 minutes.

The Vikings got on the scoreboard in the 13th minute when Jessa Rizzo found the back of the net to bring Augustana up 1-0. In the 34th minute Augustana's Stephanie Barr found the ball just outside the 18 yard box and shot it past GC 'keeper, Heidi Koehl, to bring the Vikings up 2-0 heading into halftime.

In the second half, Augustana scored just once more in the 52nd minute, which would prove to be the final goal of the game. The Vikings won the match-up 3-0.

Koehl made an impressive 9 saves in the game.

The women's record is now 1-6. The Lady Panthers will take the field again on Saturday, September 28 when they open their 2013 SLIAC play against Spalding.
