The Lady Panthers took on the Kaskaskia Blue Devils on Monday and lost the match 3-6. Despite GC's impressive singles play, the team could not capture the win.

Singles play ended in a draw with both Greenville and KC winning 3 matches each. For the Panthers, Jamie Harling, Kristen Lynch, and Chelsie Evans won their matches. Harling had afinal match scoreof 6-2, 6-0, Lynch won 6-1, 6-4, and Evans beat her Blue Devil opponent 6-2, 6-2. This 3-3 score heading into doubles meant that GC would have to fight hard to pull out the win.

Although the women showed their strong work ethic, all three doubles duos lost their matches. The pair of Evans and Lynch came closest to a win with a score of 6-8. Doubles play brought the final match score to 3-6, Kaskaskia.

This game brings the team's regular season to a close. They take the court again on Friday as they take on Blackburn in Round 1 of the SLIAC Tournament.
