Greenville College Announces 2015 Commencement Schedule and Speakers

Greenville College will conduct its 123rd commencement exercises on May 22 and 23. Commencement activities will kick off on Friday, May 22 with the Ivy Cutting Ceremony at 6:15 p.m., followed by the Baccalaureate Ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Masters degree, adult degree completion and off-campus partnership students will be recognized on Saturday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. in Crum Recreation Center. Traditional undergraduate students will be recognized at 3:00 p.m. also in Crum Recreation Center.
The 2015 Baccalaureate Keynote Speaker, nominated by graduating seniors, will be Dr. Ben Wayman, Assistant Professor of Religion at Greenville College.
Saturdays ceremonies at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. will feature Commencement Keynote Speaker Kirk Elmquist, Tournament Director for Bass Pro Shops Legends at Big Cedar Lodge. Following the traditional undergraduate ceremony, the Greenville College Choir will perform a concert at 5:30 p.m. in Whitlock Music Center.
All of this years events scheduled for commencement weekend are open to the public with the exception of Saturdays breakfast reception for graduates and their families.
