GC Volleyball Another Big Win Weekend

GREENVILLE, Ill.-- The Lady Panther Volleyball team added to their SLIAC undefeated streak with two more Conference wins against Blackburn and Fontbonne.

In the match against Blackburn, GC swept all three games with scores of 25-12, 25-13, and 25-8. Joelle Scholten was credited with 9 kills and Corinne Coon added another7 for Greenville. Scholten also had an impressive 7 service aces. Ellen Lueking and Hannah Groves each had 15 assists for the Panthers. Jamie Schollenbruch led the team indigs with 11.

Greenville also played great against Fontbonne, taking the three sets with scores of 25-13, 25-21, and 25-21. Coon had 14 kills in the match and Nicole Schaffer added 11. Lueking recorded 39 assists and Schollenburch was credited with 20 digs.

The ladies now have an impressive record of 14-6 (10-0 SLIAC). They areon a 7-match winning streak and hope to continue that streak on Tuesday, Oct. 9 when they take on Webster in another SLIAC match.
