JACKSONVILLE, Ill.--The team traveled to Illinois College and finished in 10th place out of the 17 teams that competed, with 25 total points.
Maggie McMurtrey had an impressive showing for the Panthers, scoring a total of 9 points for Greenville. McMurtrey finished in 3rd place and scored 6 points in Weight Throw with a distance of 14.29m. She also competed in Shot Put and came in 6th place with a 10.84m throw.
Haley Fahnstrom also scored points in Weight Throw. Fahnstrom came in 7th place in the event when she threw a distance of 12.59m, which added 2 points to GC's total.
Michaela Harris was another successful GC athlete who scored 3 points for the Panthers. She competed in the Long Jump and recorded a distance of 4.58m, which put her in 6th place in the event.
The Women's 4x200m Relay team finished in 1:56.39, earning 4th place and 5 points for Greenville. The Women's Distance Medley finished 3rd and scored 6 GC points with a total time of 14:06.98.
The women will compete again Saturday, Feb. 9, at 11:00am when they travel to Monmouth College for the Fighting Scot Invite.
