The Greenville College Presidential Search Committee recently convened to review the progress underway in the search for the school's next President.
The Committee is pleased with the broad distribution of the search announcement and with the significant activity of those accessing the position website. We would characterize as "very good" the level of interest people have shown in learning more about the position. The activity level indicates strong interest and is encouraging to us this early in the process. Our consultants at Carter Baldwin were also encouraged by the significant response.
Nominations for the position are coming from a variety of sources including friends of Greenville College, responses to our initial announcement, and from the research developed by our consultants.
We are on schedule for our planned process, and will begin more formal deliberation of candidate profiles early next year. We plan to make our final selection in the spring.
