Brooke Goodyear selected as SLIAC women's cross country runner of the week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The SLIAC has named Brooke Goodyear as it's women's cross country runner of the week.

Goodyear, a sophomore from Morton, Ill., captured a top ten finish in the Midwest Classic XC Invite in Bourbonais, Ill. last weekend.

Goodyear finished the 5k race with a time of 20:02, with a 4:00 mile pace.

Goodyear overcame a soggy course to grab a top ten spot out of a field of 98 runners.
