Baseball’s Massengill Notches SLIAC Hitter of the Week Award

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Greenville College's David Massengill, a senior from Neoga, Ill., has been named the Diamond Sports SLIAC Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of April 25-May 1.

Massengill, a 6-2 outfielder/pitcher, went 11-for-21 at the plate for a .524 batting average in five games played last week. He also scored nine runs and had six RBI and one home run.

Massengill recorded four multi-hit games, including going 3-for-5 with five RBI, Three runs and on home run in a 15-11 win over Principia College. He also added three hits and three runs in a 9-3 win also against Principia.
