Baseball can't stop Wisconsin-Platteville's sixth inning rally in 5-2 loss

SAUGET, Ill. -- Wisconsin-Platteville took the lead in the sixth inning, and Greenville College was unable to muster a comeback, losing 5-2 on Thursday at GCS.

Kenny Trager was hot from the plate for Greenville College . Trager went 2-4 and drove in one. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Adam Theis got the win for Wisconsin-Platteville. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Theis struck out one, walked none and gave up seven hits.

In the bottom of the first, Greenville College grabbed the early lead, 1-0. A triple by Trager, scoring Tim Osbourne started the inning off.

Wisconsin-Platteville didn't relinquish the lead after scoring five runs in the sixth inning when it scored on two singles and two bases loaded walks.
