Barber Nabs NCCAA Football Student-Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill.-- Greenville's own Isaac Barber, a defensive lineman for the Panthers,receivedthe NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week Award for the week of October 29, 2013. He was chosen as the defensive football award recipient for his stellar performance against Iowa Wesleyan on Saturday.

Barber, a senior from Matteson, Ill., was the defensive leader for the Panthers in their 46-26 victory over Iowa Wesleyan. He finished the game with with 7 solo tackles and and 1 assisted for a total of 8 in the game. Barber recorded an impressive 4 sacks and 4 tackles for loss in the game.
